Horse-drawn sleighs have been a tradition at Merrylynd farms since the land was first settled in 1825. Outdoor winter excursions are available and highly personalized to suit your needs. We can accommodate small groups.
You can book a moonlit cutter ride for up to eight people, or book a group of up to 20 people. We offer outdoor campfires along with farm tours to better understand traditional food production in Ontario.
Cancellations due to bad weather can be made early morning the day of the ride, without penalty (we cannot be held responsible for mother nature).
Sleigh rides are a fun and educational way for children to get outdoors and experience the working life of an Ontario family farm. Groups of up to 20 and all ages of children are welcome.
Tours generally take 1-2 hours, starting usually between 10-11 AM. Please ensure the children wear warm clothing. There is an outdoor toilet at the site.
